Top 5 Air Travel Apps on Android in the Middle East for Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of air travel apps on the Android platform in the Middle East showed diverse trends. Data provided by Sensor Tower highlights the key metrics for the top five apps in this category.

The Qatar Airways app maintained a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 3.8K in early October and peaking at approximately 15.8K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users also experienced growth, rising from 50.4K to nearly 67.2K by the quarter's close.

For the flyadeal App, downloads showed significant fluctuation, with a notable spike to 20.7K in the second week of October, followed by a decrease to 4.5K at the end of December. The active user base saw a similar pattern, peaking at 77K in late October before settling at around 55.7K.

The Flightradar24 Flight Tracker app had steady revenue, hovering around $2K to $2.9K weekly. Downloads remained stable, starting at 11.4K and ending at 8.8K, while active users fluctuated around the 99K mark, closing the quarter with a slight increase to 93K.

Sindibad: Flights and Hotels experienced a consistent yet modest download rate, with numbers ranging from 38 to 238 weekly. The app's active users showed little variation, maintaining an average of 1K throughout the quarter.

Finally, flydubai saw a significant surge in downloads, especially in December, reaching up to 18.4K. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 21K towards the quarter's end.
